Hacia un modelo de transporte y movilidad sostenible

“Vivamos un Pasto Saludable”

SUSTRAN LAC, con el proyecto SUTP de GTZ, ofrecieron un seminario de planeación del día sin carro para la ciudad de Pasto, Colombia. La meta de este evento de dos días (en el que participaron miembros de la alcaldía y los departamentos de salud, planeación, deportes y policía, entre otros) fue crear conciencia del significado e importancia de un proyecto “carfree” para una ciudad, del que la participación en el Día Internacional Sin Carro de septiembre 22 es el primer paso. El seminario contiene ponencias en varios temas (ver programa), finalizando con un taller de planeación participativa del Día Sin Carro.

Además, al principio de la jornada se realizó una rueda de prensa, donde se utilizó Skype (R) para comunicarse con Eric Britton y discutir la jornada con los medios de comunicación.

Towards a sustainable transport model

“Vivamos un Pasto Saludable”

SUSTRAN LAC, with GTZ- SUTP project, offered a carfree day planning workshop for the city of Pasto, Colombia. The goal of this two-day event (with people from the municipality, the planning, health, sports and police departments) was to show the meaning and importance of a carfree project for a city, starting with the participation in the international carfree day in September 22. The workshop contained talks in various topics (see schedule), ending with a large session of participative planning of the carfree day.

Also, the day began with a press conference, where Skype (R) was used to comunicate with Eric Britton to discuss the event with all local media.
